"I really like this tool. But the metal might be a bit brittle as the chipped just behind the point with two edges joining. I didn’t notice it for some time so I’m unsure what I was doing. "The Kydex sheath is form fitting and the knife fits securely. It comes with the usual adjustable attachment system for belt carry. However, the plastic lined nylon sheath that comes with the knife is very good, can be carried on your belt as well, and fits better into a backpack or tool carrier because it is flat. But for durablilty camping or woodworking, the Kydex sheath is stronger, more durable and worth the price. A word of caution, chisel knives can cut inserting into a sheath because it has a front square edge with two corners so be careful not to ruin the sheath over time."

"The Kydex Sheath is very solid and the knife snaps securely into it, a real necessity for safe carrying of the very sharp blade. I am very glad I ordered it as I am sure that anything less than a very thick leather sheath is protective enough. Excellent!"
Very useful, but with one flaw.
"This is a big improvement over the nylon fabric sheath that comes with the knife (which can be sliced through easily just by putting the knife away. ) The belt clip is a clever design. The main problem is that the knife sits VERY loosely in the sheath, so unless it's pointed absolutely vertically, it's easy for the knife to rattle and fall out. And that is much too dangerous a knife to not have secured."

"The sheath is an essential accessory to the knife but the attached QR belt clip is fragile. The lock for the hinged clasp broke immediately. It's still worth the $12. My advice is buy exactly what you want and avoid a return if at all possible. The purchase process is great, the delivery is prompt but a return is long and frustrating. (I had to exchange the first knife due to loose grips) I'm pleased with my product now that I've received the new knife but I won't bother with trying to get a new sheath."
