- Just bought this with the understanding that it was made in the USA. NOT. Will be sending it back. Very disappointed; was lead to believe it was American made.

- Re: Conant Vermont 12" Grande View Thermometer Before I possibly make a mistake in installing it, I need to know what the two little plastic parts in the bag with the screws are for.
- They are washers. They go between the screws and the bracket that attaches the thermometer to the house
